Cost: We were able to secure a block of rooms at a special price of $164 per night plus applicable taxes. In today’s high inflation this is a good price for such a fine hotel. You should register as soon as possible. Reserving a room is easy. Just following the hotel’s instructions:

How to use this link:
Click on the hyperlink and it will pull up the hotel's website where you will click 'book now'.
Type in the dates of your stay (make sure they are within the block dates) and it will give you the group rates and room availability.
Reunion registration: Our cost is $350 per person. This will cover daily buffet breakfasts in our own banquet room, a plated banquet, open bars in reserved rooms to just relax with old friends, photographer, etc. Please mail your checks made out to Scott Davis, at 94 S. La Senda Drive, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Please get your checks to Scott no later than June 30, 2023.
Note: We realize that as we get older there are unforeseen circumstances of life that make it difficult to plan several months in advance. In keeping with the “leave no man behind” pledge , if you would like to come to our reunion but have a potential family emergency, please let me know. We can always find a seat at the table for you and will do our best to get you a special room rate. Again, rather than tell us you are coming and then need to cancel out it is best if you let me know beforehand of a sick spouse, etc. and we will do our best to work something out. My email is louis.lallo1@gmail.com.
Attire: As we did in Gettysburg we are keeping things informal and leaving it up to people to dress appropriately. That also includes our banquet. No coats and ties required. If you really want to wear a coat and tie, go for it.
Daily agenda: We listened to participants from our Gettysburg reunion and the feeling was that everyone preferred a rather loose schedule giving people time to sightsee, relax amongst friends and go out to dinner in small groups. Therefore, our agenda does just that:
- Sunday, September 24 – Hotel check in and reunion registration. We will have a hospitality room where classmates and spouses can relax after traveling and catch up.
- Monday and Tuesday – sightseeing days. Brian Flora will be coordinating a Monday visit to the Truman library and Brian Walrath will be coordinating a Tuesday visit to the WWI Museum. More information will be coming from both of them on how to participate in these visits. On both of these days we will have a meeting room reserved for people to just “hang out” together. More information on this will be coming out as we get closer.
- Tuesday night banquet – The main ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel is really a fantastic place and the banquet promises to be unique. One of the attractions of this year’s banquet will be a special presentation by Brian Flora. Again, the dress is casual and left up to each individual to decide what to wear.
- Wednesday – As with all mornings, a buffet breakfast will be served in a reserved room. After breakfast Lou will be making a few closing remarks before people say their goodbyes.
